This is my favourite easiest green smoothie that your kids will LOVE too! Packed with essential fats for your skin (hangover OR sleepless nights with your baby or toddler nobody will ever guess after you’ve drank this). Plus a load of immune boosting vitamin C to ward off colds and flu which could hamper those nights out.
PS. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding you won’t have had a hangover for a while (how healthy do you feel!?) but you’ll love this green smoothie too and so will your body and your baby. This green smoothie provides you with a good dose of essential fats for your baby’s brain development and the spinach will boost your energy levels and help reduce the risk of anaemia, which is common in postnatal and pregnant women.
Ingredients
Serves 6
1 x banana
4 handfuls of kale
2 oranges, peeled and halved
2 green apples, cored and halved
1/2 cucumber
1 ripe avocado
2 dessertspoons of natural yogurt
1 cup of water (or more)
4 ice cubes
Place the banana, yogurt, oranges and apples in first. Then add the kale, avocado and cucumber. Blend until it’s smooth – add more water if you prefer the consistency to be thinner.
