To lose weight safely after pregnancy, this post baby weight loss rebounder workout on the Bellicon gives you 8 of my best post pregnancy weight loss exercises. It’s a very fun workout you can do whilst your baby naps! This 20 minute post post baby weight loss exercise has low impact, specific post pregnancy exercises safe for your back, joints, pelvic floor. Your body after baby is different but not in a worse way, just different! Postnatal weight loss needs some patience but also time efficient exercise you can fit into a busy day with a baby in tow.

One of the questions I get asked the most is ‘how to lose weight after pregnancy?’

My tip would be to invest in a Bellicon Rebounder. Research has shown that rebounding is 50% more effective for weight loss after pregnancy than running and far safer for your body, your joints and pelvic floor. You can store it easily at home and rebound whilst your baby is with you. Rebounding is fun, it lifts your mood and will also help you retrain your core and gain core strength to help lose the mummy tummy or mommy tummy alongside shifting the baby weight.

On the subject of running, I do not recommend running in the first few months after having a baby as it’s a high impact activity and causes stress and strain to your weakened joints. It also requires good core strength and after pregnancy, your focus should always be on re-strengthening your core and pelvic floor first then gradually building back up to running once your core and pelvic floor are stronger and you are not experiencing any leaking of urine when you laugh, sneeze, cough or do any activity.
